Puzzchronology is an experiment in what one person can create when AI removes the production constraints. A branching escape universe that traditional studios could never afford to make. Built one shot at a time.
The Origin
WHY THIS EXISTS
Branching narrative has been a dream of filmmakers for decades. Choose your own adventure books sold millions of copies. Black Mirror Bandersnatch hinted at what was possible. Telltale Games built entire franchises on the premise.
But every attempt ran into the same wall: production cost. Each branch requires its own footage. Each ending requires its own scenes. Studios calculate the multiplication and walk away. Eight branches and four endings means producing five times more content than viewers will ever watch in a single sitting.
AI video generation changes that math entirely. The same shot can be rendered with different outcomes, different products, different regional contexts — at a fraction of traditional cost. What was economically impossible last year is economically obvious this year.
Puzzchronology exists to prove that branching, regional, sponsor-rich entertainment is now possible for anyone willing to build it. This is what one creator can do with the right tools.

ONE OPERATOR
Puzzchronology is currently operated by one person — a software professional with twenty years of experience across enterprise infrastructure, automation engineering, and creative production. Based in Ontario, Canada.
The decision to build solo is intentional. Demonstrating what one person can produce with AI-augmented workflows is part of the story. As the Chronologist community grows, the operating team grows with it through DAO governance.
